Making a referral is simple.

You may:

  • Encourage the individual to contact us directly

  • Contact us to discuss whether our practice is an appropriate fit

Once a client establishes care and signs the appropriate release of information, we're happy to collaborate with referring providers as clinically appropriate.

Our referral process

Mental health care is often most effective when providers work together.

With a client's written permission, we can coordinate care with:

  • Primary care providers

  • Psychiatrists

  • Dietitians

  • School personnel

  • Other therapists

  • Attorneys (for immigration evaluations or other appropriate services)

Our collaborative approach helps ensure clients receive comprehensive, coordinated care while protecting their privacy.

Insurance & Payment

Soulful Serenity Counseling Services is an out-of-network practice.

Many clients are eligible for reimbursement through their out-of-network insurance benefits.

Our partnership with Thrizer allows clients to verify benefits and estimate reimbursement before beginning services.

Why Providers Choose Soulful Serenity

Referring providers trust us because we prioritize:

  • Evidence-based treatment

  • Compassionate, individualized care

  • Timely communication

  • Collaborative relationships

  • Ethical practice

  • Respect for each client's goals and lived experience

We recognize that every referral represents a significant level of trust, and we strive to honor that trust through thoughtful, high-quality care.

When Another Level of Care May Be More Appropriate

While we treat a wide range of mental health concerns, some individuals may require services beyond the scope of an outpatient private practice.

Depending on a person's needs, we may recommend a higher level of care, such as inpatient treatment, residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programming (IOP), or specialized medical services.

If we believe another setting would better support a client's safety or treatment goals, we'll help guide them toward appropriate resources.
