Meet Jazmin Williams
I’m a clinician of Soulful Serenity Mental Health Counseling Services.
This isn’t just a business; it’s a reflection of what we believe in & the high standard of care we strive to achieve each day. I provide compassionate virtual therapy for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship concerns, and life transitions across Elmira, Ithaca, New York City & New York State at large.
My Take on Our Approach to Care
Many teens and young adults feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, identity questions, and the pressure of major life transitions. You might be adjusting to college, stepping into adulthood, navigating autism-related challenges, or trying to understand how your culture and identity shape your experiences. When everything feels uncertain or heavy, therapy can provide a space to slow down, process what you're going through, and begin building a clearer path forward.
In therapy, I work with teens and young adults who want to feel more confident, grounded, and understood. My style is warm, collaborative, and conversational. Clients often describe me as both encouraging and honest—I’ll cheer you on while also gently helping you notice patterns that may be holding you back. Our sessions are a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up fully as yourself.
I have a particular passion for supporting adolescents, young adults, and members of BIPOC communities who are looking for a therapist who values identity, culture, and lived experience. I also work with individuals on the autism spectrum and those navigating social anxiety, self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, or transitions into new phases of life.
I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be real and supported enough to grow. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, strengthen practical coping tools, and help you reconnect with your confidence and sense of self.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. My training emphasizes evidence-based, culturally responsive care, which I bring into every session.
If you’re ready to feel more steady, empowered, and understood, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
